Ozawa Cutlery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as “this Service”).

Article 8(Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

If the Company is requested by the individual to stop the use of or delete their personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the intended use or that it was obtained by unlawful means, the Company will promptly conduct the necessary investigation.
  2. Based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding clause, if it is determined that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company will promptly implement a Suspension of Use, etc. of the relevant personal information.
  3. If the Company implements a Suspension of Use, etc. or makes a decision not to implement a Suspension of Use, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding clause, the Company will promptly notify the users.
  4. Notwithstanding the preceding two clauses, if the Suspension of Use, etc. has significant costs or is otherwise difficult, and if it is possible to take alternative measures necessary to protect the users’ rights and interests, such alternative measures shall be implemented.

Article 9(Changes to the Privacy Policy)

  1. The contents of this Policy may be changed without notifying the user, except for matters specified otherwise in laws and regulations or in this Policy.
  2. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised privacy policy will take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
